Travel Beats

Loving Readers,
Lmty, I am a profound lover of music, alongside travelling. In fact, travelling without music is equivalent to having a pastry without added sweetness. Thence, you will never find me leave home without my earplugs, my sine qua non and always stay with me. Travel is my heart while music is my soul. A music filled journey lifts up your spirit and pumps in your mood, banishing the tediousness which comes from undertaking long journeys. I make weekend playlists as mentioned earlier in one of my blog posts and listen to it through all the weekdays. I take time from the daily frantic schedule to relax and listen to some good music, at least by the end of the day, before hitting the sack. Lately what I have come across are a few popular music videos that are seen featuring juveniles, driving through exotic locations in exclusive vintage cars, and doing all things- young, wild and free. I found these videos quite impressive with a juxtaposition of good beats along with inspirational travel and leisure based film making that arouses an urge to explore the world around us. So, this time, for a change, I am sharing a couple of music videos fresh that will ever stay on my fab playlist . These tracks have catchy music from some recent popular music artists and I bet that will absolutely get you CARRIED AWAY!
Here it goes:
1. Nobody to Love by Sigma.

2. Jubel by Klingande

3. Red Lights by Tiesto

Watch out for these videos. You'll surely fall in love.
Seeing off for this time.
New post will be up soon. Stay tuned.
Much love,
Pooja.

Land Of The Rising Sun

India's North-East. Paradise Unexplored.
It was mid-December and I made a trip to one of the loveliest regions of India's North-East. An early riser, Arunachal Pradesh, as the name goes by, likely to a paradise with never-ending lenghty chains of misty mountains and hillocks, waterbodies-mighty and dainty, an amazing plethora of flora and fauna, rich valleys,
picturesque townships and ancient tribes- all makes it a heaven-on-earth. Largest of all the North-Eastern states, with an area of 83,743 sq km, Arunachal is blessed with a delightfully variegated climate, pristine greenery and with a home to various land and avian life. Being the most scantily populated and isolated state in the entire NE, with only as much as 13 persons per sq km, has added to the allure of this mysterious land. It's very isolation has proved to be a blessing in plenty of ways, keeping this God's own land far from the ills of over-development and the following consequent problems. Henceforth, Arunachal is taken to be a perfect holiday destination alongwith it's haunting beauty which charms and lures the visitors to imbibe of it's natural beauty, tribal culture, craft traditions and splendid wildlife.
Arunachal shares borderlines with China in the north, Myanmar in the east, Bhutan in the west and the states of Nagaland and Assam in the south.

AND THE JOURNEY BEGINS:
There is a number of listed recommended tourist circuits, but as said, Arunachal is best accessible from a small town named Tezpur in Assam, besides North Lakhimpur. But, Tezpur is a more convenient starting-point. I reside in Tezpur itself. Hence, it proved to be quite beneficial, cutting down my additional travel expenses, which would have been rather charged from any other part of Assam. Abided by the law, foreign tourists require restricted area permits to visit this state. Similarly, the Indian tourists need an Inner line permit which can be obtained from the respected Deputy Commissioners of the the district of Arunachal as well as from the officeof the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh in Tezpur. Therefore, I obtained one from the latter, few days ahead of the big day. I started off my journey on the 13th of the month at 12 noon from my den in my personal four-wheeler. Otherwise, buses are also available and the journey takes about 10 hours.
Passing by the spreaded paddy fields on both the sides of the road and dense green forests, I finally reach the entry passage to the land of hills and valleys. The journey was a rare sight and on the contrary, very perilous. Arunachal is huge and travelling around it's vast and mountainous tracts can be arduous. Hidden amongst it's verdant valleys are the tribal villages offering dynamic insight into the fashioning of this land and its people. The stunning combinationof it's haunting beauty, the treasure house of exotic flora and fauna and it's rich tribal heritage makes Arunachal a fascinating journey for the discerning traveller.
After a long journey, I reached Dirang, a little town located at height of 1497m and just 47kms from Bomdila and the place arranged for my stay. Dirang is famous for its pretty gompas and colorful Kalchakra celebrations. Dirang was a lovely town with my mornings filled with clement sunlight, sparrow chirpings and panoramic views of the mountains.I visited the National Yak Research and Breeding Centres at Nigmadung and the Sheep Breeding Farm where yaks and sheeps are reared and offers a sight that can be quite enlightening. Again, there were these beautiful apple orchards on the the top of the hills were seasonal apple fruit trees are grown.

As you climb to the higher reaches of the mountain road to Tawang, the forest thins out and air becomes increasingly colder. My further plans were to see the TawangMonastery, which is supposedly the second largest Monastery in Asia and the largest one of its kind in the country which controls 17 Gompas in the region. But disappointingly, I had to cut down the plans due to heavy snowfall which resulted in blockage of the passage way to the upper. However, I resolved to move on a bit ahead to some kilometres and see the knee-deep snow. The sinuous road to Tawang passes through the dragon gates on the awesome heights of the great Se La Pass, 45km from Dirang, is the world's second highest motorable pass. I managed to get some shots inspite of the chilly atmosphere. The month of December sees heavy snowfall in the state. Apparently, December is not the favourable time to visit this state, unless one wants to enjoy the breath-taking sights of the snow-clad mountain peaks, forests, houses and everything else-all wrapped up in white.

Being a nature lover, I was left entirely spellbound by the scenic beauty of this place. It felt like a never-ending journey, moving on and on with luscious green life enroute. Arunachal is vast, its terrain difficult, but vacationing here might be adventurous- an exciting and incredible experience- reminding you again of the
wonderful privelege it is to savour the delights of wild beauty at its best. Put on your favourite shoes and set off for this wonderland. I betcha, this place will not disappoint you at the least. The first to be kissed by the sun and a place worth travelling to, Arunachal is all set to blaze ahead on the tourist trail.

This place would appear heavenly if:
1.You are a nature lover.
2.An thrilling explorer.
3.A culturist.
4.Keen traveller.
5.Adventure seeker.
6.And last but not the least, in search of tranquility and a cut off from the hectic normal schedule.

I will keep it to this for now and take a leave from you. :)
This land has a lot more to say which is hard to be concluded within a few pages. I put in a lot of efforts to show you the minimal yet the much of it. But, for the more cravings, travelling and capturing the beauty of such places through one's own. Remember, life is short. Travel today. :)

Hour of Monotony

Of the days when I stay back home and have no definite plans, the afternoons are quite lazy and become seemingly dull, immersed in leisure. The other days I wish to travel and explore new places and end up with some decent shots for 'Wanderlust'. Torpidity have never entertained me so far. I like keeping myself occupied all the time, from creating to reading and all sorts of things I love doing. Now in seek of turning these monotonous noons into zestful ones, I pass my time hunting and reading about new places and people resulting in filling up my bucket list and intensifying the crave for travelling all the more. :D Besides, I enjoy great music and make up weekend playlists to listen to. A part of me loves listening to indie bands during the dawn and noon hours. Their art of music creation and the beats blends so well with the sunrise and sunset, and certainly my cup of steaming hot coffee. :)
Here is the mini playlist which was created for this weekend:
1. I Think I Like You by Siren.
2. Magic by Coldplay.
3. Winter by Daughter.
4. The Mother We Share by CHRVCHES.
5. Karibu by High Tyde.
6. Thirteen Thirtyfive by Dillon.
7. Take Shelter by Years and Years.
8. A Rush of Blood by Coasts.
9. Strange Enough by Verite.
10. All Those Friendly People by Funeral Suits.

Soon to post a new story on my next Wanderlust trip.
Be in touch with 'The Gypsy Soul Diaries'. :)
Love,
Pooja.

Goa

The end of September felt so perfect in every way. I found myself running bare feet on the warm sand of the beaches, relaxing and getting sun kissed. On the twenty-first of the ninth month, I made a trip to GOA, a place embellished with beaches and sea shells, supposedly one among the most sought after travel destinations in India. Goa has always been on my bucket-list, like ever since I was twelve. It is a beautiful mix of Indian and slight European culture with Portuguese flair and remained a fascination until I finally made to it. Goa is one stop particularly for all the juveniles, hippies, party animals and beach-lovers. Honeymooners and family holidays likewise stay on the list. Beginning from the month of October, the so-called 'Season of Goa', it also attracts 'whites' from all over the globe.

It happened to be a brief four day trip, wherein I had spent an hour brooding for I had limited amount of time for getting done with the things which I had planned previously, like from exploring places alongside photography and summing up beach fun with my friends. But in spite of the minimal duration in hand, I managed to make the most out of it, ending up with some pretty bunch of photos and thrilling yet beautiful experiences at Goa. The sole and foremost thing that describes this place are it's beaches. Ay, the beaches! After all, who doesn't love beaches?! From picking sea shells to soothing yourself to the sound of waves, having remarkably good sea-food facing the sea and all sorts your perky heart would have been longing for. You genuinely bore a feeling, of not coming back home and laying back on the sand for the rest of your life. I opened up my eyes to the bright sun and gushing waves to the shoreline. A pretty sight to see! Again, apart from these leisurely feelings which Goa meets to the needs of all the peace lovers, the shacks along the beaches play good music and serve extremely good sea cuisine by dusk which goes up to two in the morning. Seated by the shore under the stars with a bottle of kingfisher and your feet washing in the chilled water, is the one thing you will definitely want to try out.

Subsequently, I went for sightseeing to places that includes the Dona Paula View Point, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Archaeological and Portrait Gallery and lastly Aguada Fort. Touch of Old Portuguese livings are to be seen, for the people into history. And if by any chance you happen to be a shopaholic, Goa has it's own style sutra (statement). From clothing to footwear, home decor, bags and pretty jewelry. Numerous of them. You can go shopping at Panaji Market where you get access to like a lot of pretty stuffs that closely stick to your budget. Well, shopping is sort of a art for me. I heart adding unique things to my wardrobe and collecting paraphernalia. To mention, I got a pair of lovely harem pants, a metal choker, a chiffon maxi beach dress, fedoras and shades. Goa certainly got me smitten. :)

One of my co-travelers, Omisha, a pretty girl from Sikkim seemed quite exhilarated during the tour. Later when seated for a small talk, we tend to recollect the times spent in Goa and her views. She tells "The theory of enjoyment in life will seldom be experienced unless you've ever visited Goa and witnessed all the elements of fun for that one memorable moment of your lifetime. Travelling merely caught my attention after I visited this dainty land of beaches and spectacular views. I definitely
had the time of my life. And now what lingers is an intensified urge to go back again". A hearty thanks to Omisha that her few words attributed towards some indeedly unputdownable material for my blog post. She has always been lovely. :)

Goa was enthralling in all ways. You should definitely plan a trip to it at least for once!

Finally winding up for this time. Thanks for stopping by. :)
Shall be writing for the next one very soon.
Stay touched.
With Love,
Pooja.

Dawn

Inspiration pours in from everywhere. Millions are inspired everyday. Likewise, I am one such among those millions *inspired* by the lot who love to share their love. Though, blogging is relatively a minimal platform where you get showcased unlike the others (exceptions only if you hold a notable way of putting down your words), but I thought up to get started only for the sake for self-fulfillment. I do what I love. Well, I might not end up with a plenty of readers, but I'll surely not let go a chance where I can put myself out there for others to know me better Even,.YOU can inspire people in so many ways. This place is not finite to anything. There are so many possibilities. Countless of them. Some or the other thing is certainly meant for you. And, you can be worthy of anything you have ever wondered. All you need to do is, figure out the beauty that is hidden inside of you. As simple as that. So, why not give yourself to extroversion and display the blessed attributes you possess?! Make time for you. Do what you love. This is what I believe and do everyday.
I am 20 and a lover of music, art and food. Also, I am a frequent reader of books and blogs. Mostly travel. And, I follow a lot of people. To mention, I have been quite into photography for a pretty long time. I do own a decent camera. Lately, I figured out that I have a thing for travelling too. Hence, I thought why not merge them into one and come up with a new initiative?! Ergo, this Fall, I am coming up with this blog created solely for the love of travel and photography. I shall seldom write, post fewer photos to illustrate, and share the little tales of my journeys in life.
Folks, Happy-time reading.:)

With love,
    Pooja.
